Welcome to Journey of an Artist.

I’m Ashley. Owner and Artist.
I have been painting most of life, but it really started in 2009, and since has evolved into an everlasting passion. Painting brings me joy, wonder, allows me to express what words often can’t.
Somewhere around 2013 Journey of an Artist was born out of wanting to stake my claim in the social world with my work: A way to share my exploration as I created each new piece.

What began as an love for art, now include Paintings, Prints, Ornaments, and much more.

Where did it all begin?

If I had to pinpoint my meet cute with the art world,…
I was about 7 or so? My mom took me to see a traveling exhibition of Renoir. IT WAS FASCINATING! What I was doing for fun, he had created a life of. I went home and wrote it down in my diary that
“someday, I will be an artist”.
I studied graphic design and advertising in school, and have had a very successful career managing design work for big brands while continuing my passion projects.
This love affair will never end for me, and with the platform
Journey of an Artist, I hope will take it to a new level.
