Many of my pieces draw inspiration from time in the outdoors, from memory, or inspired by the exploration of the medium I’m working in. I often create multiple pieces based on a theme or exploring the limits of a technique.

Spending our last days in the Badlands. Hiking in the heat and enjoying all the wildlife that roams these grasslands. Our nation is so beautiful, and we are so lucky to have such diversity. Even more so I’m learning the story of our national
Two more days! When I set out to make these pieces I had a different outcome in mind.. But then I put down the first layers and saw how the pigment was creating these translucent washes and I loved the way it transformed my idea. I quickly scrapped
Today we went checked another National Park off the list and saw some mammoth sites! Watched Buffalo roam and got some local tips for rock collecting. Very excited to finish out the trip at Badlands. Even more excited to be release these paintings in
